Vehicle pursuit leads to multiple charges
From Ethridge Police Department
On Friday, July 13, 2018 officers with the Ethridge Police Department attempted to stop a red Pontiac car on North Brace Road, just outside of the Ethridge city limits for a traffic violation. Officers stated that when they activated their vehicle lights and sirens, the vehicle sped away headed north towards Summertown.
The fleeing vehicle continued to lead officers down Holloway Street in Summertown and into a wooded area where it eventually stopped in a field. Once stopped, the driver (Samuel Hargrove) fled the area on foot. The passenger (Felicia Fralix) was apprehended at the scene and placed in the patrol vehicle.
Later, after booking Fralix into the county jail, warrants were obtained for Hargrove. Ethridge officers and county deputies later located Hargove at a residence on Holloway Street and placed him in custody. At that time Samuel Hargrove was transported to the county jail.
Felicia Fralix was charged with evading arrest. Samuel Hargrove was charged with reckless endangerment, two counts of evading arrest, resisting stop frisk, halt or arrest, failure to exercise due care, speeding, driving on a revoked driver’s license, failure to stop at a stop sign, and assault on an officer.
